SuStain is a premium semi-transparent penetrating oil based stain developed for use over existing oil or water based finishes. It beautifies and protects logs, wood siding, fencing and other vertical surfaces. It can be used on new wood and interior surfaces. SuStain is an advanced, exceptionally strong and highly protective stain formulated to provide outstanding water resistance, ultraviolet resistance and color retention. This amazing product enhances the natural beauty of the wood and allows the grain to show through.
Application:
Apply (1) coat of SuSTAIN. No clear finish is necessary. The temperature range should be between 40°F and 90°F. Do not apply when hot, wet or windy weather conditions are expected within 36 hours. Always wait for moisture to dry before application. Allow 24-48 hours for complete dry. The temperature and humidity conditions may necessitate a longer drying period. Finally, depending upon the method of application and the porosity, texture and dryness of the wood, allow 200 - 400 square feet per gallon for your coverage rate. Clean up immediately with mineral spirits.
