Description:
NBS-30 is an insect repellent additive that is designed for use with most exterior coatings. It will repel ants, cockroaches, beetles, mites, spiders, fleas, ticks, silverfish, dirtdaubers, wasps, ladybugs and carpenter bees.

Empty entire contents of a one pint can of NBS-30 with a 5 gallon bucket of stain. Mix according to label directions for use with smaller quantities of stain. Always mix NBS-30 with the last coat applied.

How does NBS-30 work?
The odor of the product’s ingredients is initially quite strong and very noticeable thus repelling the insects. Ingredients are biologically natural and derived from plant extracts. It deters insects from the surface of your wood.
How does NBS-30 affect exterior coatings?
Sheen, curing time and luster of the coating may be changed slightly and would be most noticeable in pure white paint. High gloss coatings are reduced to semi-gloss. NBS-30 is not for use with any clear water based exterior products such as Lifeline Advance Top Coat or Cascade.
Can I mix NBS-30 with waer?
Yes, NBS-30 can be mixed with water but will only provide a temporary exterior insect repellent. Reapply as necessary every 30-60 days. Mix a one pint can of NBS-30 with five gallons of water and apply with a garden sprayer.
Does NBS-30 kill carpenter bees?
No, NBS-30 is a repellent not an insecticide. It deters carpenter bees from the surface of your wood.

Inhalation Vapors or finely misted materials may irritate the mucous membranes and cause irritation, dizziness and nausea. Remove to fresh air.

Steps to Be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled Spill Cleanup Procedures To avoid possible contamination of the environment, do not discharge into any drains, surface waters or groundwaters. Cover with an inert, inorganic, non-combustible absorbent material (e.g. granular clay, sand, soda ash). Place in covered containers using non-sparking tools and transport outdoors. Avoid open flames or sources of ignition (e.g. pilot lights on gas hot water heater). Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete. Dispose of in accordance with current laws and regulations.

Keep away from moisture, excessive heat and sources of ignition.
