Organiclear™ IWF-P is a unique polyurethane blend of oils and resins which gives a luxurious luster to log surfaces. IWF-P penetrates deeply into wood fibers to prevent excessive drying and splintering. The finish results in a low-gloss, microporous film that lets wood breathe and will not blister or peel. IWF-P also gives wood a durable finish that is highly resistant to scratching and everyday wear and tear in just ONE COAT. Log walls are easy to dust and clean with normal domestic detergents.

Stain Application Tips:
- Plan to stain when the forecast is predicting
good weather that will extend 1-2 days after the stain has been applied.
- The moisture content of
wood should not exceed 19%.
- Log surfaces must
be sound and clean from dirt, pollen and
other surface contaminants.
- Surface prep should be done no
more than 1-2 weeks before stain is applied. Media blasting and other
dry prep methods are best, but power washing can work if done properly
and the wood is allowed to dry.
- Apply
to log surfaces with a temperature range of 40°F (4°C) and rising to
90°F (32°C) and falling.
- Do not apply to surfaces in direct
intense sunlight, since the surfaces can be too hot.
- If your home is in an area of high humidity, add additional mildewcides to the stain. Call us for recommendations.
- Mix
together pails that may have different lot numbers; this will help
ensure uniformity of color. Stir thoroughly to mix all pigments evenly,
and stir the stain periodically throughout application.
- Brushing the stain into your wood will help promote better adhesion thus giving your stain more durability.
- Spraying your stain followed by brushing is a good way to speed up the process. It is important to flood the surface of your wood while spraying.

- How many coats of OrganiClear IWF P do I need to apply?
- One coat is sufficient to repel water on most wood surfaces. For extra protection, a second coat can be applied.
- What should I do before I apply OrganiClear IWF P?
- The application area should be well-ventilated. Before coating,
inspect the interior walls to be sure it is dry, clean and unpainted.
Remove any loose dust or dirt with a vacuum. Sand the wood if necessary
to clean problem areas. Fill any holes with a quality wood filler to
match the wall color. Prior to use, stir well and do not dilute the
formulation. Routinely stir during application.

- The Organiclear™ IWF-P and A are excellent finishes for interior log
walls and natural wood paneling.

Coverage Rate
Depending upon the method of application and the porosity, texture and
dryness of the wood, allow 200 - 400 square feet per gallon.
Directions Before Use
Organiclear™ IWF is formulated for interior and limited exterior

Apply at indoor temperatures of 50°F to 80°F.
Application
One coat is sufficient to repel water on most wood surfaces. Saturate wood for maximum protection.
Dry Time
Allow 6 - 8 hours for drying, depending upon temperature and humidity
conditions in your area. Longer drying time (up to 24 hours) may be
required on humid or cold days.
Clean Up
Use mineral spirits or paint thinner to clean brushes and equipment.
Remove drips and spatters from all surfaces after completion. Wash skin
thoroughly with soap and water.
